Installing a new system
When installing water treatment, make sure…
- that the system has duty & standby pumps, and an adequate alarm system to alert you that something is wrong.
- the system is designed to treat not only the amount of waste but also the concentration of the waste (BOD).
- the manufacturer is willing to stand by the product; ie warranty and life time maintainence the system has proven ability to handle high effluent flow within short a periods of time; ie, restaurant washup, caravan park shower and toilets, school recess time etc
- conversely the system is able to keep the bacterial culture at a maximum during extended off seasons; ie school holidays, rest stop areas etc.
